- Install droid cam wireless app into your phone. This application has two modules. The phone version and he PC client. You need to install the phone app into your android device and PC client into your PC.
- After you install both the clients, make sure that your phone and the PC are using the same internet connection. It will not work if your PC is using your DSL and mobile is using the mobile GSM data.
- Once you are sure that both the cell and PC are on the same internet connection, run the application on the phone.
- There you will see an IP address on the main screen. Note down the IP address and enter it into the PC client’s main screen.
- Select the quality from the drop down menu. If your internet connection is slow, go for the low quality and then click start.
- You will see a window opened in your PC showing your camera from phone. This will even work if the phone gets locked, but every time it happens, video distorts. It is recommended that you keep the app open and turn off the auto lock feature for your phone’s screen.
- Now restart the messenger or application were you want your video to appear. Open the video settings and select droid cam source as the source for video broadcasting.
