New look Gmail 5.0

Google is known to change the look of its products every now and then. It has changed the look of its home page many times and it changes the logo above the search on every occasion which it finds noteworthy. Now Google has rolled out a new look for Gmail.

The old look was boring and simple but the new look for Gmail called the Gmail 5.0 which has been rolled out with the release of Android Lollipop is just awesome. It has the whole new zing to it which the audience both young and old will like.

So if you have not installed it or updated your android OS then just update it and have a look at the stunning looks of the Gmail.

What’s new you ask? 

• It has a completely new design* which is very colorful in nature. You can definitely see more white space which makes the whole look of the new Gmail 5.0 for the android lollipop, in one word "cleaner". The new design at Google is called the material design and it is going to be incorporated in other Google products as well.
•  Another functionality that has been directly incorporated into the new Gmail system is that you now have the option of adding emails from other email accounts into the Gmail account with the press of just a few buttons. This will kill the other email clients that are freely available in the play store as you will now no longer need to download them. Get them all using the Gmail app and download all your emails including Pop & Imap email.
• New default feature in swiping - Earlier when you wanted to delete an email you had to swipe and you would be asked if you want to delete the email or archive it; now it will automatically follow the same selection when you first chose to delete or archive your email message - This obviously can be changed later on through the settings. Not a big feature but it is good to see the email system getting smarter.
